Frequently Asked Questions
What is ZenX?
ZenX is a privacy-first swap aggregator. Compare routes and complete crypto swaps without accounts, cookies, trackers, or analytics. The UI is zero-JavaScript by design, so nothing runs in your browser behind your back.
Do I need to create an account to use ZenX?
No. ZenX has no accounts, no logins, and no identity checks. It’s stateless by design.
How does ZenX handle transfers and protect my privacy?
You choose the tokens, pick a route, and enter the address where you want to receive funds. ZenX then displays a one-time deposit address issued by the exchange. You send your coins there; the exchange sends the output to your receiving address.
Each step is processed in real time and then discarded. No sessions, no identifiers, no retention—nothing to track. On-chain privacy depends on the asset: transparent ledgers like Bitcoin are public; privacy-focused coins (e.g., Monero) provide stronger on-chain confidentiality.
Always use your own wallet. ZenX never takes custody—it simply relays your request to the exchange and shows you the deposit instructions. Send within the suggested window (≈15 minutes) and your swapped funds will arrive without extra steps or personal details.
I can’t get the drop-down menu to go back up!
Click the small blue arrow next to the token selector to collapse the menu. Because ZenX is built with a zero-JavaScript UI, select elements behave a bit more simply than on script-heavy sites.
Why is the exchange address blank?
The exchange returned an error instead of a deposit address. This usually means the token pair, selected exchange, or receiving address wasn’t supported or was entered incorrectly. As a safeguard, ZenX leaves the field empty so you don’t accidentally send funds to an invalid destination. Double-check your inputs and try again.
I clicked “Confirm Exchange” but nothing happened
You likely didn’t select an exchange. Click the route you want to use first; after that, the confirm button will generate your deposit instructions.
Which cryptocurrencies can I swap on ZenX?
Popular assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, Litecoin, and more—availability depends on our exchange routes and may change as exchanges add or remove pairs.
Why do you have so few exchanges listed?
ZenX only integrates exchanges that meet strict privacy criteria: direct liquidity, no arbitrary KYC traps, no freeze levers over your funds, and clear terms. Few services qualify by design. If you know a candidate that fits, contact support@zenx.ink.
How do I use this service?
Pick your tokens and amount, review the available routes, choose one, enter your receiving (and optional refund) address, then click Confirm Exchange. Follow the on-screen deposit instructions. No registration, no tracking—just a straightforward swap.
Is there a fee for using ZenX?
ZenX charges no additional platform fee. Rates and network fees come from the exchange you select and the blockchains involved.
How do I get help if something goes wrong?
Email support@zenx.ink. We’ll review what happened and advise next steps. While we can’t access or control funds, we can help you interpret exchange responses and point you to the right place for resolution.
I sent to the wrong address—what now?
On-chain transactions are generally irreversible. If you believe there’s been an error, contact us at support@zenx.ink and we’ll help you assess options. We can’t guarantee recovery, but we’ll share any relevant guidance.
Why can’t I connect my wallet?
ZenX is intentionally stateless: no accounts, no sessions, no storage. “Connect wallet” requires scripts and persistent data—both are out-of-scope for a zero-data design. You stay in control by pasting addresses from your own wallet.
Can I suggest a token you don’t currently offer?
Definitely. Email support@zenx.ink with the asset and network.
How is “Cost” calculated?
“Cost” reflects how much value is lost versus a fair market swap. We compute the expected output using live market prices for both tokens (“expected”), then compare it to the exchange's actual output (“offered”).
cost = ((expected - offered) / expected) × 100
Lower is better; 0% would be perfect parity (ignoring network fees).
How is “Premium” calculated?
“Premium” compares the exchange’s actual rate to the current market rate we derive from live pricing (“market”) and the realized rate from the exchange (“actual”).
premium = ((market - actual) / actual) × 100
Negative = better than market; positive = markup. Lower premiums are more favorable.
